Directly behind the clubhouse, there are three stocked fishing lakes. Lake Melody is about 12 acres and is the southern lake. Carillon Lake is the middle lake and is about 6 acres, and Lake Harmony is about 4.5 acres. After residents started moving into Carillon Lakes in 2001, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources stocked the lakes with 3,150 bluegills and 319 catfish. In 2004, 434 largemouth bass were added. Now, residents and grandchildren are able to catch bluegill, largemouth bass up to 20 inches, and catfish up to 30 inches!!Â
Carillon Lakes is located on Renwick Road, half a mile West of Weber Rd. Carillon Lakes is 37 miles from Chicago, 37 miles from O’Hare International Airport, 30 miles to Midway Airport, and 7 miles from St. Joseph Ascension Hospital.Â
